An Acorn to an Oak

Twenty one years ago, a family of 5 sisters and 2 brothers joined hands with their parents Mr Subramaniam Pillai and Mrs Jeevratnam Pillai and took a solemn pledge to transform the lives of the children around them through education. Thus was born Sungrace Schools in Wanowrie on Salunke Vihar Road, Pune. A humble endeavor, that strove to reach out to those children who were denied education simply because there was no school in the neighborhood, or because they could not gain admission to the large convent schools, or simply because they could not afford to pay the high fees of private institutions. more..
